The Winland WB200 Waterbug Water Sensor is used to detect water in an area where there shouldn’t be any water and warning you before there is major water damage.
The Waterbug WB200 is a hub for the Winland 1040 and will hold up to seven of the 1040 sensors total, one is included with the WB200.
Each of the Winland 1040 water sensors have four metal feet, and when water touch’s two of the four feet it triggers the alarm or voice dialer or whatever warning device you have the WB200 hooked up to.
The WB200 is perfect for basements, under cabinets near waterlines, and on the floor near your water heater, this way you’ll know right away that you have a leak, and can get the problem solved before possibly hundreds of dollars in water damage takes place.
