The Honeywell 6280 color graphic voice touchscreen keypad (comes in 6280S which is silver or 6280W which is white around the screen). This is Honeywell’s newest offering if you are looking to add a touchscreen keypad option to your Vista system.
This keypad has a graphical interface that matches the icons from the Honeywell Total Connect graphics, which makes it easier to understand if you get the total connect monitoring add-on later. It also has the voice annunciation for all system status conditions, that means if you don’t understand the icons it will speak to you. It will only speak in the English language.
This new Honeywell 6280 keypad not only displays what your alarm is doing, but it can be a digital picture frame or play videos as well. This makes it not only useful as a keypad but fun as well.
The keypad can accept many user codes, but can only store descriptions for ten users. This means that if you assign the first ten people codes; then you can put their names alongside the codes so that you never forget who has what code.

I have worked with one of these and I have to say they are very nice looking as well as easy to work with. This would be a very good addition for anyone that is looking to have touch screen capability on your Vista system.
The Honeywell Tuxedo 6280i Talking Touch Screen Keypad is just another great product from Honeywell Security. The future of security begins here inside the TUXEDO!!
The TUXEDO touch screen keypad can not only control your Vista series alarm system, but it can do a number of other cool things. The screen features a 16 million color display and has graphic icons that will let you integrate with Honeywell’s Total Connect monitoring service. You can also leave messages for family and friends via the built-in microphone, load video and pictures for slideshows.
The keypad has a built in Z-Wave controller that you can use to control any of Z-Wave’s full line of home automation products. You can control anything from door locks, lighting, blinds, etc. That way you can, if you have IP cameras and a Z-Wave door lock, look at your TUXEDO and see who’s at the front door and unlock it for them right at your keypad!
As I mentioned in the above paragraph you can also use the Honeywell TUXEDO touch screen keypad to view up to 16 IP cameras that are connected on the same network as the TUXEDO. You can do single view or view four at a time. You don’t have to use just Honeywell IP cameras either. The 6280i will let you view some IP cameras on your network. You can find a list of compatible IP cameras HERE.
The keypad has an ethernet port on the back that you plug a LAN cable into and connect to your router. You can pull the local IP address of the TUXEDO up in any browser on any computer in the local network. Not only can you view the system on your local network, but with knowledge of port-forwarding you can also remotely view your keypad from another location besides your home.
I love this keypad and would recommend it to anyone wanting to take their Honeywell alarm system to the next level.

The Honeywell 5821 Wireless Temperature Sensor & Flood Detector is a new addition to our line up of Honeywell wireless products.
This is very handy little unit that allows you to monitor the temperature in the location that you are using it in. It has five different temperature detection ranges and they are as follows:
• Cold Temperature Detector 45° F
– When temperature drops below
45° F for >10 minutes
• Warm Temperature Detector 75° F
– When temperature rises above
75° F for >10 minutes
• Hot Temperature Detector 95° F
– When temperature rises above
95° F for >10 minutes
• Refrigerator Failure Detector 42° F
– When temperature rises above
42° F for >30 minutes
• Freezer Failure Detector 10° F
– When temperature rises above
10° F for >30 minutes
The Honeywell 5821 also has a remote temperature probe, the T280R, that you can wire into the 5821 that allows you to put the extension probe in a place like a freezer or refrigerator to monitor if the location has a temperature drop. Never lose food to spoilage from temperature failure again!!
Not only can you monitor temperature with the Honeywell 5821, but you can, with the addition of the 470PB probe, use this to detect flood conditions in areas such as basements, bathrooms, and anywhere else that a flood condition could prove disastrous.

We have acquired a lot of the original Simon XT version 1 panels at a great price!! The Version 1 panels are what GE first came out with when they introduced the Simon XT as an upgrade from the Simon 3.
The Simon XT version 1 is a 40 zone, totally wireless system that makes installing a breeze. The panel voice announces all alarm conditions that occur. This panel also has the ability, if a land-line phone line is wired into it, to call four numbers for self-monitoring purposes. This means that if you want the panel to call out to your cell phone instead of a central station monitoring service; then you can do it. When the panel calls out to your cell phone; it will voice announce just like it does at the panel itself.
Learning devices into the programming of the panel is a snap. All you do is either send a signal from the device that you’re trying to learn into the Simon XT or input the serial number into the panel via the keypad.
GE has many wireless devices for this panel ranging anywhere from burglary devices to fire protection. We usually recommend this system to people who aren’t very tech savvy because it is the easiest system we have in our stock to set up. Perfect for the elderly because of its ease of setup, use, and the fact that it speaks what is going on with it!
The PIR DVR w/ Remote DVRPIR is one of latest and greatest!! This is a sneaky way to keep tabs on your household. This security camera with built-in DVR capabilities looks just like a normal PIR motion detector.
This motion detector is an actual motion detector!! It will trigger upon movement. It can be compared to a hunter trap camera in the way that it works. The unit accepts a multi-media SD card. It will accept up to a 32 GB SD card to take still photos and video footage.
You can also continuously record as well with this tiny security guard!! Doing this might eat up some space on the SD card, but it’s capable of doing it. This feature could be used for those 2 hour shopping excursions or when you go across town to visit family.
The recording resolution of this unit is a whopping 1280 x 720. Which means that it can be easily and clearly viewed on a bigger monitor with no distortion. The PIR DVR w/ Remote DVRPIR comes with a USB cable so that you can transfer footage and motion captured pictures directly to your computer.
All-in-all this is a great, inexpensive way to keep an eye on your premises without breaking your wallet on a big security camera setup.
The Digital Wireless 2.4″ LCD Baby Monitor with IR Camera and 2-Way Audio is a new product that we have added to our site that we are really proud to feature!! Not only is the safety of your home a priority, but the safety of your family is also at the top of the list as well.
Keeping an eye on your toddler while you’re in the kitchen fixing dinner used to be a chore with constant back and forth trips to the child’s room to check in on them. Then when the audible monitor came out; you could hear if your child needed you but you couldn’t exactly see what was going on.
Now with the Digital Wireless 2.4″ LCD Baby Monitor you can hear when you child is needing you or in trouble and you can actually see what the problem might be before you even step foot in the room!
Not only is this great for keeping an eye out for anything that might be disturbing your child, but you can also keep an ear open as well with this units 2-way audio capability. Say that you put your toddler to bed and then retire to the living room. Right in the middle of your favorite late night program your child wakes and starts calling your name. You can let them know exactly where in the house you are so that they can come find you.
A great buy for anyone and a great gift especially with the Christmas season coming around the corner!
The Winland TA-40 Fixed Temperature Switch is primarily used for temperature controlled structures that are in areas that get below freezing at times. The TA-40 will open a “normally closed” dry contact if the temperature falls below 39 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius), this means that it can be hooked to an existing alarm system or used in conjunction with a voice dialer to make a call or simply just hooked to a siren or light to notify the neighbors. This way you can enjoy your trip to the beach this winter with the satisfaction of knowing that your fish aquarium won’t be a giant ice-cube when you return and your water pipes didn’t bust.
The Winland company has been a leader in its field since 1972 and is Proudly made right here in the USA and offers everything from the TA-40 Temperature Switch to Water and Flood Sensors with a whole lot in between.

A furnace can break down just like anything else in this world so, why risk thousands of dollars in damage by not buying a part that costs right around $20 and save yourself some heartache.
Smoke Detector Tester Model 25S or “Canned Smoke” is a very valuable tool in making sure your alarm system’s fire sensors are up and running problem free, and are ready to detect. Most of the time, issues with smoke detectors are discovered too late but, by giving them a weekly test, you could save yourself a ton of money in damaged and destroyed homes, personal property within the home, and even the lives of your loved ones and yourself.
These little, two and a half ounce aerosol containers, contain 200 + sprays for each test, that means that if you tested your system once a week, one can would last almost two years for each smoke detector… definitely worth saving a life.
The Smoke Detector Tester Model 25S will trigger both “Ionization Detectors” and “Photoelectric Detectors” and has little to no odor at all so you won’t be stinking the place up every time you test your detectors. For under $10.00 a can, there’s NO reason every family shouldn’t own at least one can of smoke…. Is your family worth it?
